What we do:

We help you get the most out of your floor plan by improving your home’s flow and functionality. From identifying under-utilised spaces to refining door swings, window placements, and joinery details, we’ll suggest practical changes to make your home work better for you.
We can work with simple real estate plans, full architectural drawings, or anything in between, however the more accurate your plans, the more accurate we can be with your concept.
No plans? No problem! If you’re considering a renovation or extension, a simple real estate plan is all we need to create a personalised plan for your home.

We recommend a material and finish palette that suits your style and works throughout your home. From wall colours to flooring and joinery, we’ll show you how to create a cohesive look that ties everything together.

How it works:

Once you book and pay your deposit, we’ll send you a questionnaire to complete where you can upload your plans and inspiration photos directly.

You’ll have a 30-minute Zoom call with Carlie or Agi to discuss your questionnaire and ensure we’re aligned. While we typically schedule this on Monday mornings, we can arrange a time that works better for you. We’ll follow up via email to confirm the details.

Over the next 3-4 weeks, we’ll review your plans, explore ideas, and develop a personalised concept for your home.

3-4 weeks after your initial consultation, we’ll meet for your final presentation. Carlie or Agi will guide you through your Concept Compass PDF and share a 3D walkthrough video to bring your plans to life!

Once your presentation is complete, take your Concept Compass PDF to a draftsperson or your build team to further develop it into a construction-ready plan. By providing clear, actionable plans, we help bridge the gap between your vision and the actual build, making the process smoother and more efficient.

For a small percentage of your build budget, we’ll create a clear design concept for your entire home, that becomes a valuable guide for you and your build team.

Yes! If you have basic real estate plans of the existing home, we can develop a concept for your renovation or extension. Our process helps you clarify your vision and create a clear design direction to take to a draftsperson or builder to develop further.

We’ll refine your existing plans to ensure they align with your vision and provide clear interior design direction. We’ll make sure your plans are functional, cohesive, optimised and meet your needs, using your existing plans as a starting point.
In particular, we suggest ways to reduce build size and costs, ensuring every square meter is utilised and optimised.

Some exclusions include:
Site visits (unless agreed upon beforehand – additional cost)
Design amendments (final changes to be made by your build team)
Construction drawings (concept drawings only). Drawings are conceptual only, not to exact scale. Not all measurement details are included.
Exterior architecture (rooflines, structural elements – our focus is on interiors)
Lighting design (key lighting selections included, but not a detailed lighting plan)
These detailed services can be added on as extra services.

Any amendments will need to be made by your build team. Nothing is set in stone, our goal is to provide you with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions as your project moves forward.

While we’re not quantity surveyors, we use your budget as a guide to make cost-effective design decisions.

Concept Compass PDF
A comprehensive document covering a floor plan concept, furniture layouts, custom joinery designs, material, finish, and colour selections, recommendations for key fixtures, fittings, lighting & 3D renders.
These are communicated through floor plans, elevations, mood boards, renders, inspiration photos, and linkable selections that make up the Concept Compass PDF.
2 Zoom Meetings
A 30-minute Zoom consultation with Carlie or Agi to discuss your brief and priorities, followed by a 1-hour presentation where Carlie or Agi will walk you through your Concept Compass PDF, share your 3D walkthrough video, and answer any questions you have.
