I’m Carlie Fraser, founder of Hygge Design, based in Bayside Melbourne. We design calm, character-filled interiors that feel like a warm hug — spaces where light is softened, textures are layered, and every choice supports the way you want to live.

My approach is shaped by a lived, practiced understanding of Danish design and values. I spent many years living in Denmark, and I speak Danish, which means my connection to Scandinavian interiors isn’t just aesthetic—it’s cultural. I’ve experienced first-hand the everyday ease of thoughtful restraint: homes designed for real life, where functionality is prioritised and comfort is considered, not added on at the end.
